Zorbeez Billy Mays

Billy Mays Zorbeez new super absorbent multi-purpose cloth claims it has the power to absorb up to 20oz liquid. It can be used for cleaning, polishing, washing the car, the windows and even dry your cat and dog. Similar to a Chamois leather but more absorbent. The Zorbeez can be washed in the washing machine.

One word, rip-off! A waste of my $15. Go for the real shammies instead.

They do work if you get them soaking wet first, then wring it out before use. Using them try just pushes water around. It did a good job getting a soda spill from my carpet. Don't use on your car because it leaves lint all over and water streaks. Even though it works, I have to give it only 2 stars; the things are worthless because they fell apart in the washing machine after a 2 uses. I found the generic knock off version of Shamwow called "Wow Towels" was more absorbent, durable and cheaper than the Zorbeez. Glad I only bought it at the store and didn't order from the 800 number, it would have probably cost an arm & a leg for 2 cents worth of flimsy material. If you are looking for one of these absorbent cloths, go with one of the competitors or just purchase a real shammy from the auto shop if you want it for your car.

The best, just simply great, but only if used right. Although I wouldn't recommend cleaning windows, or for use on cars, but other then that it works, and also don't buy off TV buy it at your local convenient store, or at the "as seen on tv" sections of a store. Truthfully though the shamWow works better, even with it's annoying infomercials.

In all my 63 years I have never been so blown away by one single product. Well, this is it! I swear, it can do just about everything. Yesterday I wasn't feeling too well, had a bit of the runs, and you know, toilet started to go crazy. There was water everywhere! I started to panic as the house became flouded with about 6 inches of water. I grabbed my Zoorbee, the little one mind you, and in seconds my house was dry as the Sahara. No moisture anywhere! Even my lips started to chap. Now I am not easily impressed, but by golly I am a BELIEVER.

This product worked much better in my fire pit as fuel. I tried drying my car and truck with the zorbeez I purchase from the local drug store. As I am sure you know by reading the previous posts, it failed miserably. Instead it spread the water out leaving water spots and orage fuzz. I had to use a bath towell instead. Theses things are useless and I recomend you save yourself money and time and get a real shammy. You don't have to believe me, by the way, there are absolutely no positive posts or ant posts for that matter at the Zorbeez web site. None, unless you count Billy May's infomercial.

Just bought these at Linen's N Things. I tried an experiment where I poured a glass of water on my kitchen floor. Zorbeez was less effective than a paper towel. By the way, it looks like these are made out of simple felt (processed wool), with maybe a few synthetic fibers thrown in. Felt tears easily and wool is meant to repel water. Yes, repel liquid, not absorb it (after all, sheep would freeze!). Zorbeez is a complete waste of money.

This is an inferior product - I spilled some liquid on my counter and it ran over onto the cabinets. It did not absorb and left an trail of wetness behind it! I grabbed Bounty paper towel instead which works much better. Zorbeez is"junk" -- it also leaves lint on the surface. DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT!

I bought some of the zorbeez to use in our auto body shop as a shammy. Pretty much all they did was leave spots on the cars. The blue anti static cloths from Sams Club work much better, and will leave your car looking beautiful. Also the claim of them absorbing 27 times more than cotton towels or paper towels is simply not true. First I tested the orange zorbeez against bounty paper towels and a cotton towel and what I found was that they were comparable to the paper towels but didn't do nearly as well against the cotton towel. I then tested the yellow zorbeez out against the bounty paper towels and a cotton towel. What I found out this time was that the yellow zorbeez didn't do nearly as well as the bounty towels or the cotton towel. Customer service with the company that sells zorbeez is awful. There have been many cases of lost orders and credit cards being charged numerous times after the order was canceled. In my case it took two months before I even received the order. Zorbeez is just a waste of money and someone who would lend their name to selling a product like that is a complete fraud.

Zorbeez does not work, does not do any of the things they claim it can do, and shame on the company that scams people out of their money for this junk. Be aware that the "Lifetime supply of Zorbeez" is also a scam. They trick you into a quarterly charge and bill your credit card without authorization.

This product is absolute trash. It does not absorb and spreads lint everywhere - completely contrary to thir claims ! Yesterday I received another set of cloths - part of a life-time "Free" gift - but was charged $6.50 to my credit card. This is a dishonest and, I believe, completely fraudulent outfit.

We purchased this product at an "As Seen On TV" store. We've purchased similar products, but this is nothing like them. It pills terribly and is not as soft as the blue clothes we purchased in the past. I highly recommend that you buy the blue clothes from Touch of Orange (touchoforange.com). They are wonderful!

I don't know where to start. I ordered and received Zoobeez last August. Since then I have received and been charged for FOUR more packs -- which I DID NOT REQUEST. I found the phone # on my credit card bill and launched myself into the most shocking, useless, incompetent, incomprehensible telephone calls I've ever been involved in. Spoke with a rep with an accent I could barely understand; then asked to speak to a mgmt. person. HA. Received info which was in direct contradiction to what the first man said.!! I got orders which were not requested, told them they were using my credit card without my permission which is tantamount to theft! His response? Okay, m'am. I asked someone to call me back -- he sez "if they will". WHAT? He said he'd cancel the "lifetime" account which I had requested (DIRECT LIE), but I'd have to return the towels to get a refund!? I didn't order them, I threw them away because they're crap. Can't understand why Billy May would lend his name to this illegal practice. I want someone to step and and STOP this fraud. Same quandary with the Hercules Hooks! Their phone # is disconnected -- now what do I do to stop THEIR illegal shipments? How many homes require over 100 hooks??? HELP! Who do I appeal to?

Having posted my comments, several months ago, I just had to come back and share the follow-up with you. On, November 11th, over 4 months from the original purchase date, the ZorbEEz arrived to my astonishment! You see, I had contacted the ZorbEEZ people shortly after my previous post of, 8-10-2007, and opted to have my credit card, credited back. I was told that the order was cancelled. Sure enough, I received a refund to my card and forgot about the whole thing until the post man brought me ZorbEEZ in the mail. What a sloppy management of a business. I, honestly, believe this entity is run by, less than competent individuals.

I had the same problem. I ordered on June 20 and by Aug I realized I never received it. Called company and was told 45 days up and was advised will not product or money back. Requested supervisor and was told would refer to his supervisor and would get an answer within 5 days. I then called my credit card company and they reversed the charges and gave me all of my money back. Within 10 days product came in the mail but it really was not worth it at all. Boy this was a waste of my time.

If you are reading this you are probably one of those who got scammed by Zorbeez. It ordered those towels on 7/21/07, and I hAve still not gotten it (9/20), and I am sure it's more than the 6-8 weeks they lied to me about anyway. Today, when I called the toll free number (again), it goes to after-hours voice mail!!!!! That's when I knew they are frauds. I am going to report this to BBB.

I've had the same experience as others. Ordered on 7/18, credit card billed on 7/20. Finally called on 9/16 and was told the item was shipped but that since 45 days had passed I had no recourse. When I asked for shipping record, they claimed they had none. When I threated to notify credit card company and BBB, I was told my complaint would be forwarded to a 'supervisor'.

We too have ordered the Zorbeez twice - since May 2007 and as of today have never received it even tho our credit card was charged immediately upon the order. The people answering the phone just say wait a little longer and hang up. Dont buy it !!

I had the same experience as the previous reviewer. I ordered on 7/31, they charged my card the same day and I didn't receive the products as of today. I called their "Consumer Care" (yeah, right...) service to ask for a tracking number and they told me in a rude tone they do ship in bulk and do not have a tracking number. I wrote another complaint email today and I will call them up again. If they don't deliver or refund, I will escalate this matter to the highest level possible. THIEVES!

I received an e-mail on 7/06/07 informing me that my Zorbeez had been shipped via USPS Parcel Post. On or about, 7/20/07 I called their shipping facility and was told to expect the package any day. Today, is 8/10/07 and I called again and was told that no package was returned, "undeliverable" and that they would re-ship the item in a few more days, or, credit back my credit card. Not wanting to wait 2 more months for this product and having read several reviews, I opted for the refund.

This product is terrible. Don't throw your money away. Like the other review, it just moves water around. Also, it left lint all over my rag top. I cotton bath towel is better to fry up water. I recommend micro fiber towels for polishing and cleaning.

My son purchased the ZorbEEZ`s multi-purpose cloths for me as a Fathers Day gift. At the time of purchase he was told that it would take 6-8 weeks for delivery. When we received the package some six weeks later I was going to wash the windows of our home the next day. When I tried to use the product to dry the windows I found that they indeed absorbed a large amount of water however after removing most of the water and wringing out the cloth I tried to dry the window with the ZorbEEZ and found out that all I was doing was moving the water around and leaving lint from the cloth all over the window. A few days later I called their toll free number to find out what I might have done wrong. The person who answered the phone transferred me to a product expert. When I explained what had happened, she said they had never had this problem before and suggested maybe if I washed the product first, it would solve the problem. She was not sure that this would help. I then asked if this does not work what should I do. She said they had a money back guarantee if they received the product back within 37 day of the shipping date. She proceeded to tell me that the shipping date was May 29 2007. We did not receive the product until July 3 2007. As you can see, the day we received the product was 35 days after the suposed shipping date. This eliminated any chance of the product being tried and sent back within the stated time for a refund. She said she could not understand why it took so long for us to receive the product since it was shipped from California (which is the state we live in). This statement does not make sense since they told my son to expect 6-8 weeks for delivery. Our conversation ended by her apologizing for the problem, but offering me no solution to my dilemma. I asked to speak to her superior and she said she was basically the end of the line. She woud not give me anyone else to talk to. This company and their products are a complete SCAM in my opinion. I want to warn others not to get ripped-off like we did. Do not believe what you see and hear in their infomercial and by all means DO NOT spend your hard earned money on any ZorbEEZ products.
